MENDOZA · ARGENTINA

Wine is the language

Mendoza is the territory where landscape and wine production have been in dialogue with each other for centuries.

The Andes mountain range sets the pace: it moderates the climate, filters the light, and shapes the soils.

Building upon that balance, generation after generation, the wineries have woven a culture that today can be felt in every glass, in every estate, in every tour.

Mendoza's Malbec is born from a unique Andean soil. The wineries take shape in architecture that is in dialogue with the landscape.

Mendoza reveals itself as you travel through it. As a Mendoza DMC, at ANDINA by Rixner we design incentive trips and corporate events among vineyards, wineries and the Andes.

MENDOZA · WINE

The region comes alive

The Mendoza wine region extends far beyond a single winery. Each estate has its own character, its microclimate, its way of working with the grape. The road between them is part of the experience.

The vineyards can be explored on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, or in vintage cars:

— On foot among the vines

The slow pace between rows allows for a close reading of the terrain. A oenologist guides the tour and explains how the sandy, mineral soil of Andean origin defines the character of each varietal.

- By bicycle

Tours between estates along vineyard paths, with stops at selected wineries. The bicycle sets a pace that invites observation.

— On horseback

Access on horseback connects with the rural tradition of Mendoza. Available at ranches and estates with a winemaking history, where the gaucho and the grapevine have coexisted for generations.

— In vintage cars

Classic vehicle rallies along the wine routes. A transfer that becomes the most memorable moment of the day.

There is a difference between walking through a vineyard and understanding why that vineyard exists there. That is the starting point of any itinerary in Mendoza.

MENDOZA · WINERIES

Architecture, terroir
and boutique wine

Mendoza's wineries range from colonial architecture to contemporary design projects. Some have been making wine in the same terroir for over a century. Others were built with the same attention and care that goes into the wine.

— Sommelier-led tasting

A sensory analysis session in an exclusive-use space. With four to six varietals selected according to the character of each winery.

Malbec — a grape of French origin with its own identity in Mendoza's soil — opens the conversation about origin, process, and terroir.

Cabernet Franc, which has accumulated international awards in recent years, complicates it: the same group of grapes, two territories, two completely different characters.

— Gala dinner at a winery

The region's wineries offer unique settings for gala dinners and private events, where wine, gastronomy, and scenery combine in an exceptional way.

Each winery has its own charm: from sunset cocktails among vineyards with the Andes Mountains in the background, to elegant imperial tables surrounded by stainless steel tanks or intimate dinners among centuries-old barrels.

Accompanied by wines and unique gastronomic proposals, these experiences turn every celebration into a truly memorable moment.

— Lunch among vineyards

Wineries that work with local producers and signature food and wine pairings offer a unique gastronomic experience: having lunch among vineyards with the Andes Mountains as a backdrop.

Each menu offers a careful combination of flavors, regional ingredients, and exceptional wines, creating an authentic and unforgettable experience.

MENDOZA · ADVENTURE

The same territory, another scale of intensity

The Andes mountain range is a horizon and much more. The very landscape that defines the Mendoza terroir is also the setting for some of the region's most powerful physical experiences.

The river, the rock, and the altitude become protagonists when the itinerary requires it.

— Rafting on the Mendoza River

Snowmelt from the Andes feeds one of the most demanding rivers in the central Andes. The rapids of the Mendoza River offer different levels of intensity, from accessible stretches to sections for experienced participants.

High-altitude trekking

Guided ascents along trails in the Andean foothills, with direct views of Aconcagua and the deep valleys to the south. The slow pace of trekking changes how you relate to the landscape: what is scenery from the car becomes terrain on foot.

— Zipline over the valley

Aerial crossing over the canyon with the mountain range as a backdrop. A moment of suspension that changes the perspective of the very territory traveled through during the day.

— Skiing in Las Leñas

In winter, Las Leñas offers one of the longest snow seasons in South America. High-level slopes, powder snow, and a unique alpine scale in the southern hemisphere.

— High Mountain · Aconcagua

Some 185 km from Mendoza, the road into the Andes passes Puente del Inca and reaches Laguna de los Horcones, at the foot of the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere. A day when the scale of the landscape changes everything.
